Where does spaghetti sauce go?

On the floor & ceiling, but of course!

I wasn't going to post today until...

I tired to be all tough while cooking dinner and opened the spaghetti jar all by myself. Maybe next time I'll first seek for help.

Not only did it get on my shoes, the floor, dishwasher, walls & the pantry, it also got on my husband and the ceiling!!

Really? Like, Really?!!

I had my mom and hubby help clean the mess up because tackling it all on my own was impossible. I actually managed to spill more then half the jar, but there was enough left for dinner. My mom and Augustin had a great laugh. I guess I had to laugh at it too in the end. I wouldn't cry over spilt milk and I don't cry over spilt spaghetti sauce either.

I put up my first Christmas decoration. The whole house is usually decorated right after Thanksgiving, but with the move and it being pushed back, it's just not happening this year. Some is better then none!

I did manage to have some fun with my son before he got into more trouble, which I will get into later.

He is just so cute! While I was setting up the camera and while the self-timer was going he didn't move from his spot or didn't look away from the camera until it snapped. He loves the camera to my upper joy. I hope all my kids will be like that.

Now I have some great pics of us together. Those are hard to come by in my line of work. I'm usually behind the camera, but I do love my moment to shine.

So we skipped the shoes today and went straight for the diapers. There is now a pile of diapers behind my desk on the floor. I don't get the fascination with taking things out and throwing them all over the place. It's been awhile since I was that small.

To top my night off, while I was on the phone with a client Little Guy decided he needed to be watered. I usually let him play with the, I don't know what it's called in English so let's call it a water spout. It's also usually empty. Someone had forgot to pour the water out and left it right where my son could get to it and guess what? He did, to my utter shock! As I'm writing this he is trying to eat paper. Are all boys like this?

You can say, "It's been one of those days." Despite that I'm smiling through it all and being positive. All this mess sure makes a great blog today, the day I wasn't going to do one.

Annetta you have such a powerful way with words to tell your story and then the wonderful pictures to prove your point. Love it!!

  2. Rachel shared this one with me and I'm glad she did. I really enjoyed it, and the pictures are great!

To answer your question, I think YES, all (or at least most) boys ARE like that. Eating paper? Just wait... lol

I'll never forget the day my son, at age 15, decided he needed to know what ants taste like. He tried a variety of colors and sizes. A couple of them decided they'd return the favor and bit his tongue too.

Boys keep things very interesting. ;)
