Weekends moments

I'm not going to focus on all the hard moments of today. I believe that would be counter productive. Instead I will look through my rosy glasses and point out all the things that really matter, well there are some that just don't, but eh.

As weekends go, this one was no different, it was busy. A few photo-shoots, a family gathering, some business meetings, an international Sunday at church followed by a nice long nap.

The photo-shoot on Saturday went very good. Lauren is one of Augustin's best girl-friends. She is a lot like him in many ways, plus she is super cute. After the photo-shoot they got to be the coolest babies ever and hanged out in the back of daddy's trunk while the daddy's tore down.

Meet Little Bear & the Princess.

I was privileged enough to capture a moment in time that will soon bring tears to our eyes when looked upon. My dear grandma who has Alzheimer's got to spend some time with my son. It was so beautiful to me because as she held him you forget that in a few minutes she will yet again ask me whose baby he was and what was his name.

Little Guy really enjoyed himself at my aunts house. Most of the attention was on him, it included baby napping right out of mommy's hands.

But don't feel bad, Little Guy took it out on someone almost his own size. No, he just likes the texture of my cousin's hair so he spent most of his time hands deep in silky soft hair.

The best part of today was Lauren coming over and she played with Little Guy while her mommy picked up the pictures. Okay let me rephrase that. Little Guy played with Lauren and made her cry as he tried to pull her down, hug her and take his toys back. He's just overly friendly and excited to have a friend over.

Poor Lauren, he was rough with her and made her cry. I need to teach him to be gentle with pretty little girls. I hope I'm not to late.

After she left he was bored... really bored. He pulled down my Christmas decorations. The ones I spent 5 hours putting up. Now I have a nice little pile of them on my desk.

Then he went round and round and round on my prop from the photo-shoot. It was cute!

That lasted only so long though because he tried to break into his grandma's room. Luckily I tied the door to the closet.

The grande finale of his boredom was breaking something. I'm happy that I promised myself to not be one of those mom's that gets super mad when something happens to break.

He just missed having his friend over and didn't now what to do with himself. I wasn't fun enough for him today.

Now I'm putting on those rosy glasses and enjoying my pumpkin pie. Boy does it taste yummy!!
