This Country Life

Every once in a while we get a chance to head out to my uncle's orchards in Yakima. It's about 10 acres of pears, lavender and a whole lot of country. I love every second of it!

Sadly, we didn't stay long, but the time we did spend there was wonderful. My husband stayed back due to work so it was just Toddler, my mom and I. We chased dogs, petted horses, eat corn, watermelon and road tractors. Let's just say that a county life suites us very well and we love it out there. I'm looking forward to heading out there again in about 3 weeks for the weekend.

Now that I'm back from the beautiful country I feel like I just want to go back. I really haven't even touched my creative work. I seem to just stare at all the pretty things other people are working on, but I don't really want to work on my own unless it's ripping up my garden so that I can have some kind of garden. Of course that can't happen in our yard with the chickens and tiny yard. I guess that's one reason I really want a farmhouse with some beautiful property.

    1. Me too! It's so peaceful there and no close neighbors!
