Transitions and Reunions

What started out as a good day turned into an emotional day both for Toddler and I. (Post was written last night)

Every once in a while there will be a day when you just wish you could spend the day in bed. Today was one of those days and it didn't help that the sun decided to ditch us today and the clouds brought in some cold air. I don't know about other people, but weather transitions aren't the funnest for me, especially when it's transitioning from sunny day to rainier and cooler fall days. I admire my husband very much and I notice how weather transitions do not phase him one bit, actually he rather enjoys the change of seasons. I'm sure my son will follow after his daddy on this and not towards me, he already has so much of my characteristics. One thing that he got from me is how he eats his food and drinks his beverages. His food has to look pleasing to the eye, new, yummy and his drinks he likes in pretty or fun cups... yeah that's very much me in every way.

So we are currently dealing with our emotions differently. My son is currently sleeping off his cranky mood and I am barring myself in magazines and hot tea to soothe the soul. I'm very much enjoying my issue of Country Living and Flea Market Style as I jot down notes to bottle all the idea's that come to my head as I flip through the pages.

My husband and I went to my 10 year high school reunion last night. Wow, I can't believe it's been 10 years!! It was fun. I wore my new BCBG dress (love it!) and I got to dress my husband up which he looked very handsome. It was weird seeing all those faces that I used to be so intimidated by. You see in high school I was at the bottom of the food chain, it want's the funnest time in my life as I struggled with my self image very much and where I fit in. I'm happy I got to go back and realize how far I've come and that I'm actually living the life I dreamed of living, praise God! I don't know about others, but it's been an amazing 10 years even with its hardships and I think I'm so much better then I was 10 years ago and happy to be where I am today.

I know that I haven't been posting, but it's been a whirlwind of little events and work since my last post. Here's a catchup on some of the images I took, which includes our Labor Day weekend in Yakima.

Toddler always has such a hard time leaving Yakima. He loves his dogs, trackers and best of all farmer.

My mom always finds creative ways to feed Toddler. She cut out an airplane and made a flower.

I added some more painting to my collection last week. The boy and his doggie will go in Toddler's room once I start that project.
