This Christmas we drive over to Boise Idaho to spend it with my dad and step family.
The drive itself is one of my favorites. We got to pass many beautiful farms, farm houses, country scenes and beautiful rolling hills. I love this drive in all seasons as long as it's not raining. When we drove back home we went through frozen fog, which was breathtaking. I had the urge to stop at every single exit and take pictures, but we were on a schedule.
While in Idaho we got to go up to Bogus Basin and inner tube for a few hours. To my surprise my three yr old was less scared going down the massive hill them I was! I thought that he wouldn't like it, but really loved it.
The time spent with family was wonderful, fun and a great way to get to know each other. It will be fun to spend more family time with them in the future. Tin loved meeting and playing with his cousins. I've always wanted that for him and it makes me happy that now he now has two step-cousins that are close in age.
We got blessed and spoiled this year with presents and nice presents at that. I received a Fujifilm x100 camera that's both a viewfinder and digital camera. This whole post was shot with my new camera. I also got a Retina II film camera. I plan on getting it serviced on the 2nd and then I will start a 365 film project called 'Thankfulness'.
I have many things on my mind for 2014, but I want to make sure this year is prayed for and not just take it as it comes. I want my ideas to be God ideas. I want my creativity to come from Him and be given back to Him. I can't go where He wants me to go without Him, nor do I want to. I am excited for the things He has been showing me and can't wait to share it.
Wonderful photos! Happy new year :)
