Back into the Swing of Things

Well, here is my first scheduled post like promised. I think this is going to be a good beginning for us all!

I've had a fairly emotional day today, so much so that I didn't even eat until 2:30pm. I didn't let that stop me from finding the beautiful things the day had for me or being thankful for the things that I've been entrusted and blessed with.

We didn't get to do much today, but just hang out and I finally got around to working around 3pm. Toddler spent that time playing nicely with his toys or sitting on my lap being a sweetheart. When I had an extensive conversation with my mom about my emotions Toddler would tell us, "Relax, just relax!", when our volume got to high. He kept the balanced in our conversation. It amazes me how he has learned so much over the year and where he is today.

I'm going to post a few images from the past few weeks, which include our anniversary trip and Thanksgiving (which was the best I've had in years). I also promise that once I catchup the post will bet much better than the one from today. I just need to get into the swing of things so thank you for being patient!

Set Schedule

Hello all! It's been so long since I've posted here and oh how I've missed this little space of mine. I'm here with a very short post, but its good news.
I've been blogging daily on my Inspired Blog and with work I've had no time to post here. Therefore I've decided to post on a regular schedule. You will now be seeing my posts every Wednesday and Friday. I'm planning on having Monday's off and then blogging the rest of the time on the Inspired Blog. Then this way everyone wins and I get a days break to just be.
So many great trips and adventures happened since I last posted so I plan on having a catchup post on Friday.

Family Day In Seattle

It's 1am and I am just now getting around to writing about our day today. So when I say today, I don't mean Sunday, but I'm talking about Saturday. Does that make sense?

Anyway, tomorrow Hubby and I will be going on our 4 year anniversary getaway (I can't believe it's been four wonderful years). Since Toddler isn't coming with us we decided to spend half the day as a family day. After several years of traveling and leaving Toddler at home, its still not any easier leaving him. I hope that I does get easier for me.

In the morning we went to the YMCA as a family. My husband loves it when we all go to the gym, it's a part of his love language (not really). I usually speed walk on the treadmill for an hour while he does his intense workout and Toddler enjoys kiddie care. We seriously have to give him a warming before we leave or we're in for a fight. I still wonder why I don't have him in pre-school yet.

After the Y we all went to Seattle downtown for some Starbucks and a stroll. It was so cold, but I had no ground to complain as the sun was out. Makes a huge difference when its cold and rainy or cold and sunny. We walked down to the waterfront and then back up to the car. Nothing too extravagant, but enough to enjoy the family and weather. The interesting part is we spent our packing tim on family time so tomorrow we'll be rushing around the house getting things ready.

(My loading process was changed do to an upgrade. The images are not organized by me and will be fixed ones I'm familiar with the changes.)

I didn't have a chance to post some cute images from our playdate with new friends Haley from Home Sweet Cozy Home on Thursday. Blogging friends are the bestest! We also got to talk about doing some fun things together too! Our kids... lets just say that they had a great time with all the hugs and kisses they were giving each other (they're both touchy and feely). We hanged out in the Country Village and had so much fun, not just the kids, but the mommy's too!

We are also repainting our kitchen and of course Toddler wants to help!
