Sneak Peak: Amanda

I got to meet such a wonderful young lady who needed some picture for her website and practice. She is young, beautiful and is a councilor. I had so much fun getting to know Amanda while capturing her personality.

Not everyone wants to jump in front of the camera and to others it can be scary, but Amanda did a great job being professional, but at the same time showing the world who Amanda really is.

It's always to amazing to see people my age doing such great things with their lives and the best part is she is helping others be better.

If you decide to use any of my photos as your profile image on facebook - I do not mind. All I ask - is to do few simple things.
1. do not edit or alter these images in any way.
2. do not crop or remove my logo out

Thank you,

Sneak Peak: Aubrey

I just LOVE working with girls, maybe it's because I have a boy, but everything about a girl is just so wonderful!

Today I got to work with Aubrey. She is cute as ever, and so full of personality that's waiting to be captured. I did get to capture a little of that awesome personality, but only a little with a promise of more to come.

The best part about Aubrey is that she does her very well and you better be ready to capture who she is or else you've missed the greatest part of a little girl loving life.

In my career I love it when kids know that they are beautiful, wonderful and special. Those children who are so full of life are my favorites to work with because they will not hold back.

I am truly looking forward to work with Aubrey again and will be counting down the months for when that will happen, until then here's the peak!

Dinner & Props

Last night I made a faboulus dinner for my family and bought some Sparkling Cherry to go with. I ended up eating my dinner alone and sharing my sparkling.

Photobucket

But yesterday’s loose is today’s gain. I got to eat the left overs today, let’s just say I have nothing to complain about.
I made a beautiful Roasted Cod with Potatoes and Olives dinner. It was quick, easy and simple. I did end up spending $30 on 2 pounds of Cod, but it was worth every bite!

Every Thursday after my 7am meeting I take my son and mom to Snohomish for breakfast and a little shopping at my favorite store Rust & Ruffles. Sometimes I spend $5 and other times I spend $100. Today was the latter.

I ended up purchasing some of the things that I was eyeing last week.

Who doesn't need a kids rocking chair for their front porch? It serves 3 purposes.

1. Entertains my son and gives him a shades reading spot outdoors
2. It's the perfect furniture for my porch
3. What a cute prop!

I think it's a win/win for everyone!

The best part about today is by far the sun that is shinning inside as much as it's shinning outside!

Little Changes

This whole week has all been about adjusting. When your pants get to small for you, you don't just stay in the same pants and hope that they get looser. You have to adjust those pants for the perfect fit!

Well my pants may not be getting any bigger, but my life has been. It's been full of so many great and exciting things with more around the corner. I find that my dreams and imagination is bigger then who I am today so as I grow I'm always adjusting.

I've had to make many changes in my business. It's hard being a stay-at-home-mom and a business I need to focus on for 8 hours. Since those two weren't mixing very well with my To-Do List I've adjusted my workflow until I grow again and need a new system.

Wanna see my on going To-Do List?

It's gonna get bigger tonight after a very exciting coffee date I have with a friend.

Can I handle it? If I keep adjusting and being my best, I know I can!

All work aside, I had a great time photographing a church event called Cherish. I got one of my favorite images from my table host who had such a gorgeous table. I can't seem to stop talking about it.

Photobucket

But that's what happens when you put me a such a photogenic table. Who wants me at their table next year?

As you know I've been decorating my desk and have finally finished it with some little touched here and there for the perfect vibe. I love things that are pretty, beautiful and helps to inspire me. So I've added some pictures and a plant.

I'm just in love with my little plant. I can't help, but stare at it while I work.

Speaking of plants, Hubby gave me the most gorgeous red roses and mommy gave me the best smelling lily of the valley all because they love me.

Now I might not be the best candidate for all this love because of all the work I've been doing so it's really touching to see that despite me being so busy and focused they give me things that I love and touch my heart.

I've also added some new things around the house. Some more new plants and changed around my console table in front of the couch. It's simple and yet adds to everything.

Oh, someone posted something about Mochi ice cream on Facebook not to long ago and ever since then I had to have some. I'm so glad for that post because I've been truly enjoy a whole lotta Mochi ice cream since yesterday! I just love the chewiness!

Sneak Peak: Jennifer's Birthday Party

My good friend Bijou threw a birthday party for her daughter Jennifer who turned 6 on the 16th. I was so happy to be the birthday photographer to this gem.

She is such a sweet girl and that whole family is amazing to me. The kids have so much respect for their parents! I just love Jennifer for her awesome spirit and she's always willing to pose for a picture. I'm telling you, she's a natural. She get's her looks and pose from her momma whom I've also had the privilege to photograph with more shoots in the works.

The best part about the party was watching the girls squirm and squeak as they picked their own toppings for their ice cream. Who knew how exciting that was.

Here's the Peak:
