I'm out of my hole (office)

I've been on a quest for creativity. It's actually a hard journey when you can't just let go and let loose. So much is holding me and weighing me down. The funny part is they are beautiful things, but not the things my imagination needs at the moment.

Take winter for intense, it is beautiful in so many ways. The naked trees with their big and beautiful branches exposed revealing its mystery. The deserving sunshine that hits you with a bitter and harsh cold. Fireplaces, the sound of rainfall and so much more, but after a while those things that are beautiful no longer capture the imagination or my heart.

I want summer, I want warmth! It's about time I was able to sit in my own deck (and not a rental) to bask in the suns warm kisses. Okay... I think I need to start taking my Vitamin D from our business because I must be lacking something, might as well as start there.

I'm ready for a new season and for life to come alive again.

Don't you miss ice in your drink? Being able to go outside without a coat? All the parks and beaches?

It's turning into a fight inside me, but I know I will be strong and my wishes will come true, all of them!

After many weeks without stepping outside for a walk or going to the park I decided that today was going to be a different day. Today was the day I started blogging, capturing moments that make my heart happy and being a little bit more of who I am.

Its great now that Little Guy can walk. He gets to go out there with a stick and explore his own little world. Boo for me when its time to sit him back into the car seat. I can't get his butt to sit in it at times, he like a stick himself with lots of screams and yells.

I also love the fact that I can get him to stay still for a picture as I practice away on him with light.

It was a short trip, but a good one. Oh and guess who stepped in doggy poo? *Hint* it wasn't me!

Oh and one of my new favorite things that Little Guy does is talk on the phone. He talked to me for a half hour one time when daddy took him shopping. He will also pretend he is on the phone with just about anything, even a laptop battery pack.

My goal is to get as much done while Little Guy naps away in bed and then to have a great time at the mall with friends.

With some Jamba Juice and a cute little babies running around the how could the trip not be great?

Little Guy got to try his own Jamba Juice for the first time. Their cups for kids are the cutest stinkin' cups I have ever seen!! I just love stuff like that!

I also love how he holds our hands through the mall, but then once in a while wants to be Mr. Independent.

He even went into the Guess store and wouldn't leave until he tried on a pair of their sunglasses.

Mommy love is so grand and beautiful to me that I just basked in it all day instead of the sun. It's actually

Midnight Sneak-Peak: James & Amanda

Today I had this huge, fun photo shoot planned with James and Amanda. It was going to be perfect! A cute bike, flowers, a blanket, bright colors, you get the picture. It was 'Summer time in the Winter'. The thing that stuck was the rain, bright colors and oh yeah the cute bike.

Guess what?! We rocked it! Forget the blanket and lets bust out the umbrellas.

I had a great time spending my time with a cute couple. Amanda had flown in for the weekend from Phoenix and we snuck in this photo-shoot. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them. Let them know how great they look!

Here they are bright and rainy:

Midnight Sneak-Peak: Linda

It's been a while since I've posted and I would like to apologize. I've had a very full week. I took the pictures, but never had a moment to sit down and post them.

This past week I had a wedding my friend and I photographed and then the photo-shoot today that I am previewing. I'll be posting more this coming up week with lots of sneak-peaks, three or 4 to be exact so stayed tuned.

After a busy day yesterday I got to photograph Linda and her beautiful family. I'm really glad I got them right after a wedding because they were so much fun and easy going. I really appreciated that they were willing to do whatever I asked them to do, but couldn't get a stroke of the air guitar or a funny face from anyone! Not only were they super photogenic most of their group shots turned out perfect without blinks or anything. In my book, that is amazing!!

I hope you enjoy the great moment we had!
