The scenery was beautiful! Cute farm houses, big fields, wild flowers & rivers. What more could you ask of a nice summer drive.

We drove by a market and decided to buy some fresh produce. Well they didn't have much, but they did have ice cream, baskets & most important (according to my mom) scarf made out of silk. The line was too long for ice cream, there was no produce, but my mom did buy a new purple scarf for her collection.

After the market we drove into La Conner. Of course by that time I was hungry, so the first thing on our list was to feed me. We ate at the only thing open. We got to sit out on the deck facing the river. It was windy and in the 60's. We ended up busting out Little Guy's bear suite transforming him into my little bear. While we eat Hubby & Little Guy had a great time together.

After a nice meal of prawn chowder, a panini & a yucky cheesecake that no one liked off we went to explore the town.

Saw some nice views, while little bear napped away the day.

Right when we were going back to the car to make the drive home little bear decided it was a good time to get up. I took advantage and took some more photos.

So that was our little advanture for the week. On the way home Little Guy couldn't stand sitting in his car seat so he decided screaming till we pulled over and got him out was the thing to do. We stopped and gave him a break.

We let him "drive", but all he wanted to do was eat the wheel instead.

Once it was time to put him back into his carseat he was screaming again. Luckily I remember YouTube and some videos I had on there just for this purpose. It did the trick, he was out by the time we got home.
