The best time of my LIFE

Not only did my husband surprise me with a brand spankin' new MacBook Pro we have been having lots of fun together as a family and truly enjoying this season in our lives. Now that Augustin is finally old enough to where he understands certain things and is mobile, we can go to play area's like The Cove in Bellevue Square and just have a blast.

Yesterday was the first snow of the season and it snowed more yesterday in one day then all of last winter put together. I'm a sucker for snow. I love summer for it's warmth, beautiful sunshine, summer dresses, yummy watermelon & late evenings. I love fall for the romance in the air, fresh crisp air, pie's in the oven, sweaters & leaves of all colors. I love winter for the snow ball fights, snowboarding trips, fireplace burning, hot apple cider & all the holidays.

It's that time of year and Christmas is in the air! Can't you just taste it?!

I can not only smell it & taste it, I feel it with everything fiber in my body.

I really felt it yesterday after church. It resulted in us calling our friends in Spanaway to go our in the snow for a nice walk with the family at the Fantasy Lights.



With my Mangosteen tea in tow, hats on our heads, gloves on our hands & boots on our feet we were off.





It was super cold outside and there were snowflakes in the air. Made everything that much better for me to enjoy this precious time with my family. I like to make sure Augustin is always warm because I like being warm. It resulted in 4 layers of clothes, 2 hats & a hoodie with a blanket on top.



You may call me crazy, but I know my son will not be crying because he is cold!

There was so much beauty to capture that my camera went ahead without me as I hurried to catch up, I was in a moment of perfect happiness.







Who doesn't love chritmas lights through snow? I think it is one of the most beautiful sites to see. It's a true moment of peace & quietness and of season bliss.







It was great seeing my son enjoy the lights and snow. Well he just really enjoyed being out of the stroller, doing his own thing.



After the Fantasy Lights we parted way with our friends and headed off to get some pizza. I just love pizza! It was a great treat from my husband, a good way to end the days festivities.

Yesterday morning I had asked my husband to change Augustin's dipper and he had a really hard time with it because my son is a little worm. He gave up after buttoning up his onesie, but I did catch them taking a break while playing an iPhone app.



Moments like these melt my heart!



I should get back to watching the snow fall. We should get the fireplace started for a warm afternoon together with a nice hot cup of tea.



Oh and the day after Thanksgiving we are off the our Anniversary Getaway to who knows where because it's a surprise! I'm living the life!
