Shopping Trip

Sometimes my mornings get off to a rough start. While everyone are in their beds, waking up and planning for the day all is well for that one moment, but once breakfast starts getting made so do the meltdowns.

Today's morning consists of two cup spills. One is water all over the kitchen floor and the other is hot chocolate a.k.a 'coffee' all over the coffee table. Hmm... I wonder which little Toddler couldn't hold his cups today. I just have to sigh, thank God for my beautiful family and think about our upcoming trip to Snohomish (my happy place).

Snohomish has it all for me. The small town feel, farms, meadows, fields, cute houses, cafe's and shopping. What more can a girl like me ask for? So on today's list I'm thinking an artsy magazine, burlap, lace and vintage windows.

I so see a beautiful photo-shoot in this vintage dress!

Toddler was such a good little boy during the trip and with his, "Please" and "Thank you's" he was wowing everyone. I do have to admit that his blonde hair, blue eyes and good looks are hard to pass up. I'm already praying that he will be a gentleman with girls hearts once he grows up. While my favorite part of the trip was shopping and browsing his was walking by the river and digging in dirt.  I love the little man he's becoming.

We had a win win for all. Toddler got to play outside, his mommy got to shop and my mom got some much needed fresh air. I even walked away with the magazine, burlap and two cute white birds to add to my collection.

I am in love with days like today. Toddler is in bed by 8pm after a nice long bath. I was able to update my website while he napped today after a little nap of my own and now for some 'Say Yes to the Dress' and work. Sigh... in love!

  1. I really do love that out of focus shot! It makes me think about how we see the world when we're busy looking at something else!
