Bubbles and Frozen Yogurt

I'm a day late posting this, but a day late is better then never.

I was happy to find that I was able to put off some of my work to be with Toddler. It was a great day for us because Calliou wasn't the babysitter as I worked. He had his mommy's undivided attention. I'm not able to do this regularly, but when it works out it's a treat for the both of us.

I don't know if I'm the only one in this, but it seems like when I have a great day being a mom, my house work and work gets neglected. When I am productive with cleaning, laundry, cooking and organizing, my son and work get neglected. You get the picture. I wish that I was able to cook a meal, clean the house, give Toddler all the attention he needs and bust out all my work. A pipe dream? Yeah, I think so. Plus I've come to terms with who I am... well my husband has come to terms with who I am. He ends up doing the laundry and folding it. That reminds me, I need to throw that load in right now.

Another way I got mommy brownie points was talking Toddler and his friends out for frozen yogurt. He just loves his cousins so much! It's really funny to see him act like one of the boys when in reality he's just a baby. It also helps that they love him and are the greatest babysitters for him. Whenever we come over to their house it takes hours to pry Toddler away from there. One time I told him I was leaving and he said bye and closed the front door on me! That's when he was only a year old. I was stunned to say the least!
