My First Two Roses

I think I have officially stepped into womanhood when I purchased my first two roses.

While in my favorite town of Snohomish I went to the most beautiful farm called the Antique Rose Farm where they have the most stunning display of roses and gardens I have ever seen. Made me impatient to have my own private rose gardens full of roses, hydrangeas, lilacs, ranunculus, and wildflowers galore. I dream of owning a beautiful vintage white teahouse in those gardens where I can shoot to my hearts content.

I'd love to shoot this place for an article in a magazine!

Back to my womanhood. Growing up, I'd love to go out into our front yard to cut some fresh roses for the table, but I always had to ask my mom as they were her rose bushes. When I was purchasing my rose bushes I couldn't believe that I will have my own rose in my own yard to cut for photo-shoots as much as I'd like. I no longer have to drive by beautiful homes and lust over their rose bushes, that made me feel very much like my own woman.

I'm excited to plant them and watch the climbing Blushing Lucy take over my chicken coop while the Queen Of Sweden has her way with our ugly restraining wall.

Our my beautiful purchase we all went for a walk overlooking the beautiful country side. The walk didn't last long as it turned out we were all hungry taking us to my favorite organic restaurant called Grilla Bites.

Before going home I had to spot by my favorite store called Ruffles and Rust to pick-up my favorite magazine called Artful blogging.

I guess yesterday was the day of good news and receiving goodies in the mail and today was the day for all of my favorite things. This is the beautiful life that I live!
